- District 4 to host Informational Town Hall Meeting -

Informational Meeting for residents with various elected officials to learn about available resources

District 4 Acting City Councilwoman Leticia Cantu will host an informational Town Hall meeting on Monday, March 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 5763 Ray Ellison Dr.

Acting Councilwoman Cantu has also invited and received confirmation from several other elected officials including Mayor Julián Castro, Congressman Ciro Rodriguez, Senator Carlos Uresti, and Commissioner Sergio "Chico" Rodriguez. Each official will brief the community on the "services" that are provided by their respective offices.

"It is an honor to present such a large gathering of elected officials to the residents of District 4 for this Informational Town Hall Meeting," Cantu said. "This event is for the constituents and how they can learn about the basic services that are provided by various levels of local, state and federal offices."

Congressman Ciro Rodriguez praises Acting Councilwoman Leticia Cantu for putting this meeting together and is "looking forward to this opportunity to share this information with District 4 residents." He further notes "this is a wonderful idea to bring the elected officials and residents together to present available resources and answer questions directly."
