Tickets now available for the City's 2011 Green Building Awards

Tickets are currently available for the City's 2011 Green Building Awards scheduled at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1 at the International Center located at 203 S. St. Mary's Street.

Tickets can be purchased at $75 for individuals or $650 for a table sponsorship, which includes one table of eight, event signage and recognition at the awards ceremony.

Mayor Pro Tempore Ray Lopez will deliver the opening keynote address at the awards luncheon. The Green Building Awards celebrate builders, architects, designers, and others in the construction industry that have made significant strides in improving the performance of their buildings, as well as specific construction projects.

Awards will be given in several categories within the divisions of commercial and residential construction, including new and retrofit construction. In honor of Bill Sinkin's contributions to the city and solar accomplishments, his award will be presented to a nominee who has made outstanding significant contributions.
