- City-Toyota Green Clean-up Project -
Toyota Team Members Beautify District 3

Three hundred and forty Toyota Team Members rolled up their sleeves to help beautify areas of District 3 today as part of the City-Toyota Green Clean-up Project. Today marked day three of the joint community project targeting 17 sites throughout the city.

Team members were dispersed throughout District 3 to help with various clean-up projects including removing trash and painting park pavilions, curbs and picnic tables in Southside Lions Park. Crews also painted bleachers, picnic tables, benches and hand rails in Harlandale Park. The clean-up project will continue through this Friday, September 26. Team members will break for one week and then start up again October 6 through October 10.

Tomorrow, the City-Toyota Green Clean-up Project will move into District 4 to clean-up Arnold Park located at 1011 Gillette Road; Palo Alto Terrace Park located at 9700 Celeste Dr.; Palo Alto Park located at 1500 Palo Alto Road and Pearsall Dog Park located at 4700 Old Pearsall Road. Team members will be landscaping and spreading mulch, cleaning the ball fields, removing trash and debris and applying paint to some much needed areas in the parks.
