Prime Contractors

The City’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), is offering a free seminar, “Prime Contractor Connection,” to highlight prime contractors in the construction industry in the San Antonio area and provide guidance to local small businesses on their organization’s requirements for subcontracting opportunities.

The seminar is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28 at the Development & Business Services Center, 1901 S. Alamo 2nd Floor, Training Rooms A & B.

Prime contractors that are invited to attend include Clark Construction, Bartlett Cocke General Contractors, and Raba Kistner. They will provide a review of their requirements referencing certifications and bonding capacity, as well as general information about their organizations. In addition, PTAC will provide an overview of the best places to look for subcontracting opportunities. Other business resources will present information on effectively competing for government contracts.
