New location for First Point Business Information Office

On Monday, July 13, the City’s Economic Development Department’s (EDD) First Point Business Information Office will be moving to the Cliff Morton Development and Business Services Center (DBSC), 1901 South Alamo Street.

The First Point Business Information Office is the primary stop for potential and existing small business owners who want to start, expand, or relocate their small business. The move to the DBSC provides a direct link for business owners to meet one-on-one with a small business counselor.

An economic development small business liaison will staff the front counter to provide information on licensing, permitting, and regulatory requirements needed for operating or expanding a business in San Antonio, as well as, information on various small business resources and services specifically targeted to startup businesses.

This move will provide convenient services to the small business community and reflects the proactive approach the City and specifically EDD, is taking to adjust to the needs of small businesses.
