Tickets now available for the City’s First Annual Green Building Awards

Tickets are now available for the City’s first annual Green Building Awards. Ticket prices are $60 for individuals or $450 for a table of eight.

The Green Building Awards will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8 at the International Center, 203 S. St. Mary’s Street.

The event celebrates builders who have made significant strides in improving the performance of their buildings, as well as, specific construction projects. Awards will be offered in several categories within the divisions of commercial and residential construction. The first Bill Sinkin Solar Award will also be presented to a nominee who has made significant contributions in solar energy. The award is in honor of Bill Sinkin’s contributions to the city and his solar accomplishments. Before the award is presented, a special tribute will be given to Sinkin by Councilwoman Diane Cibrian.
