City celebrated first Annual Green Building Awards

Today, the City of San Antonio celebrated the first annual Green Building Awards.

The event celebrated organizations that have made significant strides in improving the sustainability of their buildings. Awards were given in several categories within the divisions of commercial and residential construction. The first Bill Sinkin Solar Award was also presented to Northside Independent School District’s Aquatics Center for their significant contributions in solar energy.
