City teams up with Citibank to offer $10,000 Facade Improvement Grant

The City’s Housing and Neighborhood Services Department’s Neighborhood Commercial Revitalization (NCR) division has teamed up with Citibank to offer a $10,000 Facade Improvement Grant.

Businesses and property owners located in the NCR corridors of Avenida Guadalupe and East Town and Commerce are eligible to apply for the grant. The purpose of the grant is to assist in the revitalization of commercial property within the designated area. Residential property and apartments are not eligible to receive the grant.

Applications can be obtained by contacting Jose Avalos at (210) 207-6979 or by emailing him at jose.avalos@sanantonio.gov. Applications are also available at the NCR corridor offices. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, April 3. The winner will be selected by a NCR panel of judges. The chosen recipient must agree to complete the expenditure project within six months of receiving the grant.
