City to host “Basic Training – The Government Way”
PTAC to host seminar aimed at educating businesses on federal government contracting

The City’s Economic Development Department’s Small Business Division program, the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), is holding a seminar to educate new and existing businesses on federal government contracting.

The seminar scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, is free and will provide participants with key information on the federal process. Discussions will also focus on obtaining a DUNS number, registering in both the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA), instructions on developing a marketing sheet/capability statement, and information on federal certifications.
