PTAC to host seminar geared at assisting small businesses compete for government contracts

The City of San Antonio’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), is offering a seminar entitled Cost Proposals 101, a seminar that will assist small businesses compete for government contracts.

The free seminar is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Cliff Morton Development and Business Services Center, 1901 S. Alamo, 2nd floor Training Rooms A & B.

The keynote speaker for this event will be Jim K. Haugen, CPA. Haugen has extensive experience with preparing cost proposals and federal government audits. The South Texas Women’s Business Center, City of San Antonio Capital Improvements Management Services and other business resources will also present information on services available to help small businesses grow their business through government contracts.
