STWBC to host lunch seminar aimed at helping entrepreneurs survive their first year in business

Starting and opening a new business can be both exciting and challenging. The first year is often filled with trials and tribulations. The City's Economic Development Department’s (EDD) South Texas Women’s Business Center (STWBC) understands the highs and lows of this type of venture so as part of their lunch and learn series Platica they will be hosting a seminar entitled “How I Survived My First Year in Business: Stories and Advice” with Erica Nunn , Owner and Co-founder of We Deliver Smiles, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19 at the San Antonio Central Library’s Auditorium, 600 Soledad.

At the event, Nunn will share her first-year business experiences , as well as, share advice and tips of surviving the freshmen year of business.

The STWBC is a program of the South Texas Business Fund and the City of San Antonio’s Economic Development Department which offers education, counseling, and training services to aspiring entrepreneurs and established business owners.
