STWBC to host seminar aimed
at helping small businesses learn marketing tools
How do you create an effective marketing strategy for your small
business? The City’s South Texas Women’s Business Center (STWBC) will
help to reveal little known marketing secrets at their Platicas Lunch
and Learn series entitled “21st Century Marketing” featuring Erik
Darmstetter, of “Sales by 5.”
From 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21 at the Central
Library’s Auditorium, 600 Soledad, Darmstetter will share the simple,
yet important, steps of successful marketing in today's world. He has
built a successful track record of increasing sales with creative ideas
for big and small companies. His accolades include being named the Ernst
& Young Entrepreneur of the Year and one of the San Antonio Business
Journal's 40 under 40.
The STWBC is a program of the South Texas Business Fund and the City of
San Antonio’s Economic Development Department which offers education,
counseling, and training services to aspiring entrepreneurs and
established business owners.
Cost to attend is $10 with online registration and $15 at the door. To
