Citizens are encouraged to get involved in local government. The Transportation Advisory Board makes recommendations to the Director of the San Antonio Police Department, in reference to City ordinances, rules, and regulations on the licensing and regulatory review process for transportation services licensed by the City. These services include taxicabs, limousines, tour/charter services, pedicabs, and horse carriages. The City of San Antonio is seeking applicants for the following categories:

• Member of the Airport Advisory Commission – 1 slot
• Consumer – 3 slots
• Member of the Convention and Visitors Commission – 1 slot
• Horse Carriage/Limousine – 1 slot
• Member of the Hotel/Motel Association – 1 slot
• Taxicab Industry (Co-op Industry) – 1 slot
• Taxicab Industry (Large Company) – 1 slot
• Taxicab Industry (Small Business) – 1 slot
• Tour/Charter/Shuttle Representative – 1 slot
