Applicants sought for the Firefighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission

Applications are being sought for the Firefighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission. In accordance with state statute, citizens who are appointed to the Commission must:
 
(1) be of good moral character;
(2) be a United States Citizen;
(3) be a resident of the municipality for more than three years;
(4) be over twenty-five years of age; and
(5) not have held public office within the preceding three years.

Interested applicants may obtain an application by visiting www.sanantonio.gov/clerk and selecting "Boards and Commissions Agendas,"then selecting "Vacancies on Boards and Commission," then "Apply." Applications must be received by November 20.
