Community invited to attend graffiti work sessions

The City’s Housing and Neighborhood Services Department’s will hold two community work sessions on Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29 to discuss ideas for a proposed Graffiti Strategic Plan. The department seeks to strengthen anti-graffiti efforts in the San Antonio community through a coordinated plan of action.

The Graffiti Strategic Plan will analyze and make recommendations to formulate a cohesive plan that addresses the graffiti problem within the city. In addition, the plan will include recommendations regarding collaboration among departments as well as how to strengthen the current graffiti ordinance.

Residents are encouraged to attend one of the work sessions on this important issue. Both sessions will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the first taking place at Guerra Library, 7978 Military Drive West and the second session taking place at the Northeast Service Center located at 10303 Tool Yard.
