Summer Recycling Tips - Tip #3: On the go doesn’t mean in the trash

Just because you’re drinking it in the car, it does not mean that it belongs in the trash. Here is another helpful recycling tip from the City's Solid Waste Management Department that will help you recycle this summer.

Tip #3: On the go doesn’t mean in the trash, recycle the empty beverage containers that you use in your car. Keep an extra bag or box in your car so that you can collect your beverage containers and recycle them instead of throwing them in the first trashcan you see.

Not only will you be helping the environment but you will also be succeeding in your summer task of keeping the car clean by not having empty drink containers rolling around in your car.
