City to hold forum on Small Business Policy Options

The City of San Antonio’s Small Business Advocacy Committee (SBAC) will hold a business stakeholders meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, at the Municipal Plaza Building – B Room, 114 W. Attendees will review and comment on preliminary policy options drawn from the Disparity Study recommendations, adopted by City Council on June 25, and previous input from the business community.

During the meeting an overview will be given followed by a discussion with business stakeholders to obtain their reactions regarding the various policy options. Stakeholders will also be asked to provide a list of policy priorities.

Comments received at the meeting will be considered in drafting recommendations regarding the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Ordinance.

Individuals interested in commenting on the City’s policy options are encouraged to attend. The Business Stakeholders Meeting is free and open to the public. For more information or to RSVP, contact (210) 207-3915.
