City to hold forum on
Small Business Policy Options
The City of San Antonio’s Small Business Advocacy Committee (SBAC) will
hold a business stakeholders meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on
Thursday, July 9, at the Municipal Plaza Building – B Room, 114 W.
Commerce. Attendees will review and comment on preliminary policy
options drawn from the Disparity Study recommendations, adopted by City
Council on June 25, and previous input from the business community.
During the meeting an overview will be given followed by a discussion
with business stakeholders to obtain their reactions regarding the
various policy options. Stakeholders will also be asked to provide a
list of policy priorities.
Comments received at the meeting will be considered in drafting
recommendations regarding the Small Business Economic Development
Advocacy (SBEDA) Ordinance.
Individuals interested in commenting on the City’s policy options are
encouraged to attend. The Business Stakeholders Meeting is free and open
