Free seminar to focus on insurance for small businesses

On Wednesday, September 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Cliff Morton Development and Business Services Center, 1901 South Alamo., the City's Economic Development Department (EDD) Small Business Division will host a free seminar for prospective and existing small business owners who want to learn about small business insurance.

Information will be provided to attendees about various types of business insurance available to protect them and their business against threats and risks that can disrupt their normal business operations and pose the potential for significant financial losses.

The City's EDD Small Business Division and South Texas Women's Business Center will also present information on a variety of business programs available through their divisions.
