Three weeks left for high school seniors to apply for the 2011 MLK Scholarship

High school seniors who plan to pursue a college degree and are looking for financial assistance have three more weeks to apply for the 2011 Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is Friday, March 4.

The City's Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission is currently accepting applications from graduating seniors who attend a high school within Bexar County.

Individuals interested in obtaining an application may do so by visiting the City's website at www.sanantonio.gov/mlk. Applications may be submitted online or by mail.

Each year, the MLK Commission awards $1000 scholarships to area students. For more information, email MLK@sanantonio.gov.
