At-Large Boards and Commissions openings

Citizens are encouraged to get involved in local government. The City of San Antonio is seeking applicants for a variety of At-Large Boards and Commissions. The positions available are as follows:

Advisory Board of Health of the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (2 slots) – Categories:
o Nurses Association Representative (1 slot)
o Veterinarian (1 slot)

Convention and Visitors Commission (1 slot) – Category:
o General Community – Northwest Sector Representative

Head Start Policy Council (1 slot) – Category:
o Business Representative

VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority (1 slot) – No Category
(The member appointed to this board will serve out the remainder of the unexpired term of office which will expire on December 31, 2008.)

Municipal Golf Association – San Antonio (1 slot) – No Category

Citizens who would like to apply may obtain an application from the Office of the City
Clerk located on the second floor of City Hall, 100 Military Plaza, or by visiting
