Town Hall meeting set to discuss BRAC 2005
Residents to learn about improvements, construction projects

District 2 residents are invited to a Town Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 at the Little Carver Civic Center, 226 N. Hackberry to learn about Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC 2005) impacts and construction at Ft. Sam Houston.

Residents who live in the area surrounding Ft. Sam Houston will be provided an update on construction impacts and a representative from the DiLuzio Group will discuss their work on the Growth Management Plan for the community.

BRAC 2005 was designed to improve capabilities and enhance military value across the country. As a result of infrastructure and facility enhancements at Ft. Sam Houston and Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio will gain $2.1 billion and 11,200 new jobs.
