Public Meeting scheduled for the Northeast Inner Loop Community Plan Update
Public invited to learn, discuss, and propose land use for the area

The City of San Antonio’s Planning and Community Development Department will hold a public meeting to discuss the Northeast Inner Loop Community Plan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1 in the Activities Room at the Northwood Presbyterian Church, 518 Pike Road. Community stakeholders will have an opportunity to provide input on proposed changes to the Northeast Inner Loop Community Land Use Plan.

The Northeast Inner Loop Plan area is generally bound by Loop 410 to the north, Harry Wurzbach to the east, Rittiman Road to the south, and Broadway St. and N. New Braunfels Rd. to the west.

The Unified Development Code of the City of San Antonio requires that neighborhood and community plans be reviewed by the Planning Commission at least once every five (5) years, and if necessary, amended by the City Council. The Northeast Inner Loop Neighborhood Plan, having been adopted March 22, 2001, is due for review.

This public meeting provides the opportunity for residents and property owners to comment on the proposed land use plan for the area, thus directly impacting future neighborhood and community development.

After taking into consideration the final comments from the public, the new updated plan will be presented by the Planning and Community Development Department to the Planning Commission and City Council for consideration and adoption.

For more information about the Northeast Inner Loop Community Plan, call Lauren Edlund, Planner at 207-0157 or Loretta Olison, Senior Planner, at 207 7919.
