City’s San Antonio Building Codes Academy to host seminars focusing on fire code fundamentals and occupancy

The City’s Development Services Department’s San Antonio Building Codes Academy (SABCA) will be hosting four six hour seminars May 6 through May 9 at the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center - Room 202, 200 East Market Street.

During the seminars, an accredited International Code Council instructor will discuss the “2006 International Fire Code Fundamentals” and the “2006 International Building Code Special and Mixed Use Occupancies.”

The cost for each seminar is $130 before Monday, March 17and $155 after the early deadline date. To ensure a space at the seminars, individuals should register no later than Monday, April 7. Workbooks are included in the registration cost.

Each participant will receive 0.6 CEUs per course. Please note that code books are recommended for each seminar but are not a part of the registration packet.
