City to host “Basics of Governmental Contracting” seminar

The City’s Economic Development Department’s Small Business Division program, the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), is holding a seminar to educate new and existing businesses on federal government contracting.

The seminar scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29 is free and will provide participants with key information on the federal process. Discussions will also focus on obtaining a DUNS number, registering in both the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA), instructions on developing a marketing sheet/capability statement, and information on federal certifications.
