City seeks applications for Planning Commission

Applications are being sought for an open position on the City of San Antonio’s Planning Commission. The appointed member will serve out the unexpired term until October 12, 2008.

The role of the Planning Commission is to advise City Council on the creation of the master plan for the development of San Antonio. In addition, the Commission is involved in the administration of regulations for subdivisions and platting, both within the city limits and its extra-territorial jurisdiction.

Citizens wishing to apply may obtain an application from the Office of the City Clerk located on the second floor of City Hall, 100 Military Plaza, or by visiting www.sanantonio.gov/clerk/boards/onlineapp/boardapponlineintro.asp . The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, April 30.
