City seeks input on River Walk Capital Improvements Master Plan
Public invited to community meeting

The public will get its first glimpse of a comprehensive plan for River Walk improvements when the City of San Antonio's Downtown Operations Department unveils a draft of the River Walk Capital Improvements Master Plan at a community meeting. The meeting is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2 in the third floor conference room, suite 303, of the International Center, located at 203 S. St. Mary’s Street.

Downtown stakeholders and all citizens are encouraged to attend and will get an opportunity to provide feedback on the plan.

An inventory and analysis of existing River Walk sidewalks and other infrastructure, general concept design for improvements, as well as estimates of the cost of repairs and enhancements is included in the presentation.

Beaty Palmer Architects started developing the plan in November 2007 and the project is set to be completed in July 2008.
