San Antonio Building Codes Academy to host seminars focusing on fire code, building code changes

Registration for the San Antonio Building Codes Academy (SABCA) seminars on fire and building code changes is underway. Hosted by the City’s Planning and Development Services Department, the SABCA is scheduled for May 26 through May 29 at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center, room 103, located on 200 East Market Street.

The City of San Antonio and other area municipalities will adopt new building and fire codes, each having significant changes. The seminars will be presented by Premium International Code Council instructors and each session is worth six hours of continuing education credit.

The cost for each session is $185 and includes a workbook. Although registrations will be accepted on the day of the event, registration by May 11 is
encouraged to ensure space and a workbook.
