Release Date: January 6, 2010 City of San Antonio Communications and Public Affairs Department: 207-7234 Do Your Homework: Certifications and Registrations Obtain Information on Preparing for Government Contracting The City of San Antonio's Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), is offering a seminar entitled Do Your Homework: Certifications and Registrations. The seminar is free of charge and is scheduled for Tuesday, January 26, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Central Library's Auditorium, located at 600 Soledad. This seminar will highlight information on how to obtain federal, state and local certifications and how to complete registrations for government and public agency vendors. The PTAC serves an integral role in counseling local small businesses for certifications and registrations and encourages them to pursue federal, state, and local government contracts.
