The Houston Street Two-Step will take place on Houston Street from Christus Santa Rosa Hospital to the Alamo. This year's festivities will include an extended Cattle Drive complete with 1800's era chuck wagons and stagecoaches, rodeo clowns and a host of other western-themed sights and sounds. Following the Cattle Drive, the Houston Street Stroll will continue the festivities by providing participants the opportunity to pick up a "passport" and stroll along Houston Street to take advantage of special discounts and offers from a select group of local merchants and restaurants. Upon visiting a participating establishment, strollers will receive a stamp on their passport. At the end of the event, completed passports will be placed in a drawing for door prize drawings and tickets to the Rodeo. In addition, the Houston Street Stroll will also feature chuck wagon cooking, children's activities and live Country and Western entertainment in the parking lot on the corner of E. Houston and Jefferson Streets across from the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum.
