Release Date: July 15, 2011 City of San Antonio Communications Office: 207-7234 PTAC's "Contracting Connections" Seminar -Get to know the agencies that seek small businesses for contracting- The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), administered by the City's Planning and Community Development Department, is providing a free seminar entitled "Contracting Connections" from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26 at the Central Public Library auditorium, 600 Soledad. Library doors will open at 9 a.m. The seminar will offer: - Match-making for Federal and State contracts; - Small Business Resource Offices to provide information on their services; and - Networking with purchasing agents and/or small business representatives. This seminar is being offered as part of PTAC's free monthly seminar series designed to help small businesses increase and/or enhance their government contracting opportunities.
