Release Date: October 10, 2011 City of San Antonio Communications Office: 207-7234 Contracting opportunities at Lackland Air Force Base focus of free information session The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), a program administered by the City's Planning and Community Development Department, joined forces with Skanska USA Building Inc., the Hispanic Contractors Association de San Antonio, and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, to offer a free information session about opportunities for small, women-owned, small-disadvantaged, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned and HUBZone business concerns. Skanska USA Building Inc. was awarded the Lackland Ambulatory Care Center Phase 2 construction project located at Lackland Air Force Base and they are looking for subcontractors in various industries to complete this project. The seminar is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 at the Pearl Brewery - Full Goods Building, located at 200 E.
