City South Management Authority Board applications deadline is September 30

Citizens who have an interest in City government and who are also interested in improving the quality of life for the southern sector of San Antonio are invited to apply for any of the four positions available on the City South Management Authority (CSMA) Board.

Qualifications:
At least three directors appointed must:
1. Reside in the CSMA; or
2. Own property in the CSMA

One appointee may be:
1. Owner of stock, whether beneficial or otherwise, of a corporate owner of property in the CSMA;
2. Owner of a beneficial interest in a trust that owns property in the CSMA; or
3. Agent, employee, or tenant of a person who: (A) owns property in the CSMA; or (B) is covered by Subdivision (1) or (2) above.

The four appointees should possess some of the following experience:
 - Energy matters
 - Commercial Banking
 - Real Estate development
 - Finance and insurance matters
 - Retail or the provision of services
 - Provision of utilities
 - General issues the CSMA will address

Term of Office: Two years (January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2013)
Mission: Promote and Foster Sustainable Development and Economic Growth
