From pre-Colombian times, el Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, has been celebrated throughout Mexico and Latin American countries. Today it is celebrated throughout the Americas on Nov. 1 and 2, during All Saints and All Souls Days, a time in which the living lovingly pay tribute and remember their departed friends and family members.

Both venues feature live music all weekend long and traditional altares (altars) throughout.
