NCR offers workshop on Visual Branding
-Small business owners invited to attend free workshop-

Small business owners are encouraged to attend a free workshop entitled Visual Branding from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 17 at the Code Enforcement Services Building, located at 1400 South Flores Street. The City's Planning and Community Development Department is hosting this event as part of its Neighborhood Commercial Revitalization Program (NCR).

The workshop will be led by Lara August, owner and creative director of Robot Creative. Topics include creating a unique and clear image, positioning your business among the competition, and matching your message to the market.

This workshop is offered as part of the NCR Business Basics (B2) Course Series. The courses are designed to help entrepreneurs in recognized distressed areas learn new skills, grow sales, and form critical networks. Business owners may attend the entire series, or attend individual workshops to brush-up on specific skills. Courses are conveniently held every third Thursday of the month. The classes are free for guests from the NCR/ TIRZ/ Empowerment Zone corridors. A $5 donation is suggested for guests from outside of these areas.

To register for this event or to find out if you are located within a designated zone/corridor, contact Yvette Thomas at 207-6979 or yvette.thomas@sanantonio.gov.
