City announces Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Home Ownership Fair

The City of San Antonio's Office of Grants Monitoring and Administration today announced details of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Home Ownership Fair, scheduled for Saturday, March 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse at Sutton Oaks, located at 2818 N Panam Expressway (IH-35N) near the AT&T Center.

Potential homebuyers will have the opportunity to meet with NSP affordable housing partners, realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers, and homebuyer counseling staff to get on the path of owning a home. Attendees will receive a $100 coupon towards the purchase of an NSP home, a raffle entry for great door prizes, an introductory home buying session, and much more.

The NSP is a Housing and Urban Development-funded federal program through the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 (HERA 2008) and is administered by the City of San Antonio for acquisition and rehabilitation of foreclosed residential properties.

The Homeownership Fair is free of charge. For more information, contact Pete Alanis at 207-6600.
