Public invited to Open House meeting to unveil the MidTown Brackenridge Master Plan

The City of San Antonio and the San Antonio River Authority, with input from plan area and community-wide stakeholders, have drafted the MidTown Brackenridge Master Plan and want to hear from you. The final Open House public meeting, Unveiling of the MidTown Brackenridge Master Plan, is scheduled for Monday, February 7at The Witte Museum, located at 3801 Broadway.

Over the past several months, public workshops and planning meetings have been held to gather input and feedback from community stakeholders. This information has been processed and the Master Plan has been drafted by lead consultants, Gateway Planning and Alamo Architects. You are invited to attend the presentation of the draft plan and provide additional feedback before it is finalized.

The Master Plan will serve as a guide for redevelopment and revitalization efforts for the MidTown Brackenridge Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ), which traverses the neighborhoods of Tobin Hill, Government Hill, Westfort, Mahncke Park and River Road. The Plan area includes the Broadway Street and St. Mary’s Street corridors, on either side of Brackenridge Park, and is generally bound by Hildebrand to the North and by I-35 to the south.

The Open House will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a presentation at 6:30 p.m. The plan will be posted to the project website prior to the meeting at www.midtownbrackenridge.org.
