Release Date: February 9, 2011 City of San Antonio Communications Office: 207-7234 City to unveil draft design standards and proposed base rezoning for the South Presa Metropolitan Corridor Business owners, residents, property owners and stakeholders in the South Presa area are invited to attend an upcoming Open House to review the draft design standards for the South Presa Metropolitan Corridor and proposed base rezoning. The draft design standards will be available for public comment and will also be available for viewing online at http://southpresacorridor.posterous.com/. The Open House is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16 at the Mission Academy, located at 9210 South Presa. Once adopted, the proposed design standards would apply to future commercial construction projects along South Presa between IH-10 and Loop 410. The draft design standards focus on preserving the commercial character and scenic qualities of the corridor and create unifying standards for site design, building materials and landscaping.
