Release Date: October 28, 2011 City of San Antonio Communications Office: 207-7234 City's Procurement Technical Assistance Center to offer free workshop on federal contracting assistance in Medina County The City of San Antonio’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is hosting a workshop in collaboration with the Edwards Aquifer Authority on Nov. 8, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the South Texas Regional Training Center, 402 Carter Street in Hondo, Texas. The workshop focuses on federal contracting assistance, federal contracting database registration and certification, marketing assistance, state certification, and finding and pursuing opportunities at the local, state, and federal levels. The workshop will begin with a presentation about local, state, and federal registration and certifications. Shortly thereafter, several PTAC counselors will be available to provide one-on-one guidance and assistance to attendees. The workshop is free and open to the public.
