Release Date: February 23, 2011 City of San Antonio Communications Office: 207-7234 Second opportunity to review and comment on draft design standards and proposed base rezoning for the South Presa Metropolitan Corridor South Presa area business owners, residents, property owners and stakeholders are invited to attend the upcoming Open House to review the draft design standards for the South Presa Metropolitan Corridor and proposed base rezoning. The draft design standards will be available for public comment and will also be available online at http://southpresacorridor.posterous.com/. The Open House is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 28 at the Riverside Park Elementary,located at 202 School Street. Once adopted, the proposed design standards will apply to future commercial construction projects along South Presa between IH-10 and Loop 410. The draft design standards focus on preserving the commercial character and scenic qualities of the corridor and create unifying standards for site design, building materials and landscaping.
