Thanksgiving holiday schedule of City services

City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25, 2011. City services will operate as follows:

• All libraries will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, and remain closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25, returning to regular operating hours on Saturday, November 26.
• Downtown visitors will enjoy an on-street parking meter holiday Thursday and Friday.
• Municipal Court, 401 S. Frio, will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• Animal Care Services lobby, kennel and adoption center will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• All Community Link Service Centers will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• Cafe College will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• Bitters Brush Recycling Center, 1800 Bitters Road, will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• Animal care officers, and police and fire personnel will be on duty as usual.
