Veterans Day holiday schedule of City services


In observance of the Veterans Day holiday on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, the City of San Antonio announces the following holiday schedule of City services:

Open

• Garbage and recyclables will be collected.
• The Bitters Brush Recycling Center, 1800 Bitters Road, will be operational.
• 3-1-1 Call Center will be operational.
• Spanish Governor's Palace
• Police and Fire personnel will be on duty.
• Dead Animal Collection crews and Animal Care Officers will be on duty.

Closed

• City Hall
• Most Municipal offices
• Central Library and all branch libraries
• Municipal Court, 401 S. Frio
• Animal Care Services lobby and Adoption Center
• Cafe College
• All Community Link Service Centers
• The Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Center
• Downtown parking meters will not be enforced.
