Seminar to discuss insurance options for small businesses

The City's Economic Development Department (EDD) Small Business Division will host a free seminar on Wednesday, August 13 for prospective and existing small business owners wanting to learn about small business insurance. The workshop will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Frost Bank Tower, 100 West Houston St., Suite 1900.

Participants will learn about the different types of insurance available to protect them and their business against various threats and risks that can disrupt their normal business operations and pose the potential for significant financial losses.
 
Information on a variety of business assistance programs offered by the City's EDD Small Business Outreach Division and South Texas Women's Business Center will also be presented.
