Video helps residents learn
more about the City’s FY 2009 Proposed Budget
Neighborhood associations, community organizations or anyone interested in
learning more about the City’s FY 2009 Proposed Budget are encouraged to
tune into TVSA-21, the City’s government access channel, to view a
comprehensive video that describes the budget, the City’s revenue sources,
and how residents can participate in the process.
The video airs Monday through Wednesday and Friday
at 11:30 a.m. , 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.; Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00
p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The video can also
be viewed online at
www.sanantonio.gov/budget.
The Fiscal Year 2009 Proposed Budget was presented
to City Council on August 14. Community hearings are being held on the

City Council will adopt the budget on September 11.
The City begins its next fiscal year on October 1.
“Your City Budget. Working for You” is a 15-minute
video produced by the City’s Communications and Public Affairs Department in
conjunction with the Office of Management and Budget.
