Making a Difference…One Suggestion at a Time…
-
City looking for citizen input for its 2010 budget -

In preparation for developing the Fiscal Year 2010 Budget, the City of San Antonio is looking for input from its employees and residents through its Budget Input Box program. Last year, this initiative brought forth more than 600 suggestions. Some of which were implemented in the FY 2009 Adopted Budget.

This initiative, available in both English and Spanish, is a forum in which employees and residents can offer their suggestions on how the City of San Antonio can increase efficiencies, generate new revenues, and/or make effective changes to service delivery.

To submit your budget input suggestion for consideration in the FY 2010 Budget Development Process, visit the City’s website at www.sanantonio.gov and click on the Budget Input Box logo. The City also has begun distributing Budget Input Boxes to all San Antonio Public Libraries, Community Link Centers and other locations for employees and residents interested in submitting suggestions with a paper form.

For more information on the Budget Input Box, call the City’s Office of Management and Budget at 207-8360.
