neighborhood on-street parking regulations during Alamodome and downtown
special events Only vehicles with City-issued event parking decals may park on neighborhood streets beginning two hours before the event, through the end of the event. Individuals can obtain an on-street event parking decal by calling 207-8266 between the hours of 7:45 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. They may also visit www.sanantonio.gov/dtops/evt_prgdo.asp for a parking decal application. Residential parking regulations will be in effect during all Fiesta events. Violations to the City’s front/side yard parking ordinance may result in a parking citation and/or a significant fine to the property owner. In addition to front/side yard parking, event goers who park in vacant lots or other non-permitted parking areas may be subject to having their vehicle towed at their expense. The City is encouraging Fiesta participants to adhere to all City codes to ensure a safe environment for all citizens who are attending these events. Citizens are asked to call 3-1-1 to report possible parking violations. Fiesta participants are encouraged to avoid
traffic and parking hassles by using VIA’s Fiesta Park and Ride service.
