City-Toyota Green Clean-up Project wraps up today

Today marked the end of the City-Toyota Green Clean-up Project as more than 122 Toyota Team Members and its on-site suppliers volunteered their time to help spruce up areas of Brian McClain Park, Friesenhahn Park and Comanche Lookout Park in District 10 by spreading mulch, picking up trash and upgrading facilities.

Throughout the two-week beautification project, Toyota and its on-site suppliers pledged 340 team members to clean-up 17 sites in all 10 City Council Districts.

The group volunteered 17,120 hours, an estimated value of $273,235 to the City. The City-Toyota Green Clean-Up Project started September 22 through September 26 and after a week-long break, crews started again on October 6.
