Luminaria Arts Night in San Antonio to close certain streets

Thousands of art lovers will converge on downtown San Antonio this Saturday, March 14 from 6:00 p.m. until midnight for the 2nd Annual Luminaria Arts Night in San Antonio celebration. Motorists will be diverted as the City closes several downtown streets to accommodate events. Listed below are street closures and associated closure times for event preparations and activities.

On Friday, March 13, street closures will begin at 8:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 15 at S. Alamo Street and Losoya between Commerce and Market.

In addition, the following street closures will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m.:

  • Avenue E between Houston and Third
  • E. Houston between N. Alamo and Third

Other street closures on Saturday will begin at 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. at the following locations:

  • Alamo between Commerce and Travis
  • Peacock Alley between Broadway and N. Alamo
  • E. Houston between Broadway and N. Alamo
  • Crockett between Losoya and N. Alamo
  • Blum between Alamo Plaza and Crockett

Northbound on Alamo between Market and Durango will be closed from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m.

Commerce and Market Streets will not close down. Traffic will be able to travel east and west on these streets through the Luminaria footprint.
