Two weeks left to submit nominations for 2010 MLK Distinguished Achievement Award

There are two weeks left for Bexar County residents to submit nominations for the 2010 Martin Luther King, Jr. Distinguished Achievement Award. Residents are encouraged to nominate members of the community for the award whose life embodies the legacy of Dr. King through a commitment to education, human rights, and economic well-being for all citizens.

All nomination forms must be submitted online or postmarked by December 31. Nomination forms can be obtained at www.sanantonio.gov/MLK.  Nominees must be a Bexar Country resident, 21 years of age or older, and exhibit and practice personal beliefs and qualities consistent with Dr. King.
