Release Date: October 27, 2009 City of San Antonio Communications and Public Affairs Department: 207-7234 Movies by Moonlight wraps up series this Thursday The Movies by Moonlight's outdoor film series will wrap up this Thursday, October 29 in HemisFair Park with a showing of the nail-biting classic Jaws. Pre-entertainment starts at 7:00 p.m. and the feature film beginning at 8:00 p.m.The free movie will be shown in the grassy area under the park archway and the Magik Theater building at S. Alamo and Nueva. Concessions will be available selling movie treats such as popcorn, soda and cotton candy. Movie-goers can park for free at the Alamo Street Lot near the HemisFair Park and across from the Federal Courthouse at the Durango Street lots after 6:00 p.m. on a first-come basis. The popular family event drew more than 600 people in attendance enjoying such film favorites as Footloose, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Pretty in Pink. Movies by Moonlight is presented by the City's Downtown Operations Department with sponsorship by Rivercenter Mall and is presented in part by Time Warner Cable.
