City wants you to pull the PLUG on graffiti
- Graffiti Abatement Program accepting applications for solar-powered motion detector lights

Residents are invited to pull the PLUG on graffiti by applying for a solar-powered motion detector light from the City's Housing and Neighborhood Services Graffiti Abatement Program.

PLUG or Place Light Upon Graffiti is geared at providing lights to businesses and residential areas that have been tagged repeatedly with graffiti. Interested individuals may fill out an application online at www.sanantonio.gov/graffiti or by mail at the address below. Applications will be accepted from January 18 through February 26. Quantities are limited, so not all applicants will receive lights.

Individuals who do receive lights must install them two weeks from the date it is received.

PLUG is a program established through a grant from Graffiti Hurts and additional funds provided by CPS Energy, VIA Metropolitan Transit and the City's Housing and Neighborhood Services Department.

For more information on PLUG, contact Lisa McKenzie at (210) 207-5430 or by e-mail at lisa.mckenzie@sanantonio.gov.
